The Oprah Magazine recommends this podcast in large part due to the fact that most of the tales that fill history books in grade school are about men. This podcast however, features a different story every day about “different incredible women from throughout history.” Each episode is between five and 10 minutes, but packed to the brim with “stories of women you may or may not know — but definitely should.”

Hosted by Jac Vanek, Keltie Knight, and Becca Tobin, this podcast promises that no subject is off limits. PopSugar said, “Whether it’s talking about their good or bad weeks, interviewing celebrity guests, or sipping mimosas, these three very different personalities give listeners their honest take on life.”

Each week, a celebrity guest joins the girls for a raw, honest, and hilarious look at what life is really like under the bright lights of Hollywood.

Good Housekeeping said, “When you just want to talk to your bestie, turn on this podcast for a hit of fellowship.” This show is a podcast for long distance besties everywhere. Co-hosted by BFFs Ann Friedman and Aminatou Sow, and produced by Gina Delvac, they release new episodes every Friday.

PARADE Magazine included this podcast because it’s “for women who want to stay informed, inspired and intrigued.” Hosted by comedian Jolenta Greenberg and culture critic Kristen Meinzer, the show claims to be half reality show, half self-help podcast, and one wild social experiment. In each episode they live by the rules of a different self-help book to figure out which ones might actually be life changing.

In their list of the best podcasts for women that are working, Forbes suggested the Being Boss podcast because it directly addresses issues women face in their careers. On the show host Emily Thompson explores the mindsets, habits, and tactics of harnessing your creative ambitions and embracing the adventure of starting and growing your own business so that you can make money doing work you love.

While Clever Girl Finance began their list of best podcasts for women in finance with their own show The Clever Girls Know Podcast, we thought we’d share the second one in their list too. They said, “Her Dinero Matters is a bilingual podcast great for women who want to take charge of their money.”

Hosted by Jen Hemphill, the Her Dinero Matters podcast “down-to-earth interviews and panel discussions from la comunidad Latina as well as solo episodes sharing simple actionable tips and strategies which you can implement right away.”

Glamour Magazine mentioned the Encyclopedia Womannica as their top pick of the best podcasts for women. However, since we included that show at the beginning of this post, we’re sharing their second choice of the Our Body Politic podcast.

What drew the magazine to this show is that it “covers issues affecting U.S. women of color, from the perspective of U.S. women of color, in a super-smart way. It manages to be both a political and cultural cheat sheet, and extremely listenable.” The show was created by and is hosted by award-winning journalist Farai Chideya.

Grazia said, “The Guilty Feminist covers all of the big topics through a uniquely feminist lens with a diverse range of whip-smart guests, making it one of the best podcasts you can get in your ears.” One of their favorite parts of the show hosted by Deborah Frances-White is her “I’m a feminist, but…” segment.

Marie Claire said, “Listening to their podcast is like catching up with the girls over a bottle of wine or three – except you can do it at 7:00 a.m. on a Monday on your way to work.” The show is hosted by best friends Isabelle Truman and Grace O’Neill who deliver news, pop culture, and Pinot Noir in podcast form.

Woman’s Day Magazine said, “This podcast, hosted by Anney and Samantha, addresses everyday topics, including relationships, the gender gap, and being a good daughter.” Every Wednesday and Friday, the show continues the conversation of what it is to identify as female through research-based discussion around feminism and how it impacts everyday life.
