Navigating your anxieties in the dating world.

Happy Valentine's Day, babes. It's only fitting that in this episode, we explore how to navigate our anxieties in the dating world. Dating is already so hard, but sometimes our anxieties and triggers can start to rule the outcome of our experience, so today I dissect some of my own triggers and anxieties and how I have navigated them. Once we learn how to handle our anxieties in a romantic connection, the more likely we are to see the connection for what it is, and dare I say, actually enjoy it. So tune in!

The truth about your early 20s

In today's episode, I unpack the hard truths of the early 20s. I explore the transition into adulthood and all the terrifying feelings that come with it. I offer my "big sisterly advice," as I have just crossed over into the mid to late twenties phase. Don't let your dreams die; let your early 20s be the years that make you into the person your future self will thank.

Unscripted 02: The love hate relationship I have with social media

Welcome to Unscripted Episode 2. Today, I dive into the unhealthy relationship I and the rest of society seem to have with social media, as well as the inspired creativity that lies within social platforms. I discuss the importance of being present, being here now, stepping into our passions, and getting to know ourselves to really see life from a different lens and love who we are.

How habits and routines affect your quality of life

This is something I had to figure out the hard way. Like everything, there are good habits and there are bad habits, and in this episode, I really unpack how not having good habits and routines affects the overall quality of your life. I share a deep personal story of battling my addiction to alcohol after college, and how I had to change my routine to lead me to the healthy lifestyle that I have today.

My frustrations with gym culture.

I really wanted to explore some of my frustrations that I see in present-day gym culture. I'm definitely no saint in this episode, and I have a lot of hot takes. My experience in being an athlete for so long has led me to the conclusions that I've made, above all, though I really speak about the importance of appreciating all that your body can do and that fitness should be a complement to your health, not a tool to look fit.

Burnout.

Ahh, we are so back. I know it's been a while, and I'm sorry, actually not really, I needed a break. I was burnt out. And that's what this episode is about today. In this episode, I explore what this feels like for me, how it comes about, and what I've been trying to do to pull myself out of it, or rather, accept it as a part of the creative process.

Unscripted 01

This podcast wouldn't be called Real Authentic Woman if I didn't get real with you guys. In this episode, I am speaking completely off the cuff, no preparation, just me, myself, and the mic. It gets heavy, it gets deep, but it's important to note that the reason I am sharing these vulnerable thoughts with you all is to reach those who need to hear that they're not alone. I think it's important to share the parts of ourselves we are too afraid to let be seen, because it might just help someone else.

Life is nothing but a playground

Today, I get deep, I get introspective. I talk about the different phases of life, the frustrations, the longing, and the beauty of it all. Sometimes I feel like we take life a little too seriously, and the truth is, life is nothing more than a playground. A place for us to experience things in a physical way. I had fun dissecting this topic, and I hope you guys enjoy this one.

Being a woman sucks sometimes.

There is a lack of education surrounding women's health, and I'm frustrated that I am now in my mid twenties just now learning about things like the different phases of the menstrual cycle. In this episode, I unpack my frustrations surrounding the lack of education, the stigma attached to women's health, and the challenges we face as women when it comes to protecting our rights.

Be present

Staying present in this day and age can be so hard when we have all these other distractions getting in the way. Let's uncover what some of those distractions are and why they might contribute to the mundane way of life that we find ourselves in. Remember you always have a choice.
