Genesis 3 - September 1, 2026

https://square.link/u/UHRU92rp - Donate Here Today’s reading takes us to Genesis 3, where the works of the devil first appear. The serpent does not begin with a command, but with a question: “Did God actually say?” Sin starts by doubting God’s Word, questioning God’s goodness, and believing the lie that disobedience will give us what God is withholding. Genesis 3 reminds us that sin brings loss, curse, hiding, blame, pain, and death—but it also shows us the first promise of gospel hope. Before humanity fixes anything, before anyone repairs what was broken, God promises that the offspring of the woman will crush the serpent’s head. So today, read Genesis 3 and remember: where death entered, God promised life; and Jesus came to destroy the works of the devil.

1 John 3 - August 31, 2026

https://square.link/u/UHRU92rp - Donate Here Today’s reading takes us to 1 John 3, where John shows us the family resemblance of the children of God. The Father has loved us with an otherworldly love and called us His children. That identity is not small, casual, or sentimental—it changes what we tolerate, what we pursue, and what we become. 1 John 3 reminds us that the children of God increasingly look like their Father. His love names us, His life changes us, His love proves us, and His Spirit assures us. So today, read 1 John 3 and ask the Lord to make the family resemblance clear: may our lives look so much like our Father that others can see we belong to Him.

John 15 - August 29, 2026

https://square.link/u/UHRU92rp - Donate Here Today’s reading takes us to John 15, where Jesus does not give us a strategy for the Christian life—He gives us Himself. He is the true vine, the Father is the vinedresser, and every branch depends completely on union with Christ. The vineyard belongs to God, the growth belongs to God, and even the pruning belongs to God. John 15 reminds us that fruit does not come from striving harder, but from abiding deeper. The Father prunes, the branch abides, the disciple loves, the world hates, and the Spirit testifies. So today, read John 15 and remain in Christ: let His Word shape you, let His love form you, and let your prayers be changed until you want what He wants.

1 John 2 - August 28, 2026

https://square.link/u/UHRU92rp - Donate Here Today’s reading brings us back to 1 John 2, where John calls us to live for what lasts. He warns us not to love the world or organize our lives around a system that operates as if God is unnecessary. The world offers pleasure, possessions, and position—but all of it is already passing away. 1 John 2 reminds us that our lives will eventually move toward our loves. If we love what is temporary, we will build our lives on what is already expiring. But if we abide in the Father and do His will, we live for what remains forever. So today, read 1 John 2 and let your perspective shift: Christians should be the hardest people on earth to impress with temporary things.

Hebrews 7 - August 27, 2026

https://square.link/u/UHRU92rp - Donate Here Today’s reading takes us to Hebrews 7, where we see Jesus as the Priest who never stops. Melchizedek points us to a greater priesthood, a better hope, an eternal Priest, and a perfect Priest. The old priesthood could provide ceremonial access, but it could never perfect the worshiper. Jesus does what no earthly priest could ever do. Hebrews 7 reminds us that our security is not anchored in how tightly we hold on to Jesus, but in how faithfully Jesus holds His office. He saves to the uttermost, lives forever, and always intercedes for His people. So today, read Hebrews 7 and draw near to God with confidence: the Savior who died for you is still alive for you, and His intercession has no expiration date.

Leviticus 16 - August 26, 2026

https://square.link/u/UHRU92rp - Donate Here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tSMYxhb0u-4 - Episode with info on the Day of Atonement (as mentioned in this episode) Today’s reading takes us to Leviticus 16, where God gives Israel the Day of Atonement. The question behind the chapter is massive: how can sinful people live near a holy God without being destroyed by His holiness? The answer is atonement—blood is shed, sin is confessed, guilt is covered, and the scapegoat carries Israel’s sins away into the wilderness. Leviticus 16 reminds us that the Old Testament sacrifices had to be repeated every year because they were never the final answer. But in Jesus, our Advocate and propitiation, the picture becomes the Person. The blood has been offered, the veil has been torn, the sacrifice is finished, and our sins are carried away. So today, read Leviticus 16 and rest in this: Jesus did not merely make atonement possible—He completed it.

Zechariah 3 - August 25, 2026

https://square.link/u/UHRU92rp - Donate Here Today’s reading takes us to Zechariah 3, where Joshua the high priest stands accused, filthy, and unable to defend himself. Satan brings the accusation, but the Lord answers for Joshua. The priest has no argument strong enough to silence the accuser, but God speaks one sentence and the courtroom changes. Zechariah 3 reminds us that God does not tell sinners to clean themselves up before coming near. He removes the filthy garments, takes away iniquity, clothes His people in holiness, and points us forward to the Branch—Jesus, our true Priest-King and Advocate. So today, read Zechariah 3 and remember: Satan may know your record, but Jesus runs the courtroom.

1 John 2 - August 24, 2026

https://square.link/u/UHRU92rp - Donate Here Today’s reading takes us to 1 John 2, where John reminds believers that the goal of grace is holiness. When we sin, we do not look to our innocence—we look to our Advocate, Jesus Christ the righteous. He is our propitiation, the sacrifice who fully satisfied God’s righteous judgment against sin. You cannot out-sin the cross. 1 John 2 reminds us that if we know Him, we should walk like Him; if we walk in the light, we should love His people; and if we have heard the gospel, we must let it remain in us. The Spirit will never lead us beyond biblical truth—He leads us deeper into it. So today, read 1 John 2 and abide until you see Him: love the Word, recognize the lie, reject the world, and walk in the light.

Psalm 32 - August 22, 2026

https://square.link/u/UHRU92rp - Donate Here Today’s reading takes us to Psalm 32, where David shows us the freedom of being fully known. Sin makes us hide, and hiding makes us miserable. David says his silence drained him, but confession brought him into the joy of forgiveness. The sin he tried to cover in secrecy was covered far better by the grace of God. Psalm 32 reminds us that the God we hide from becomes the God we hide in. When we confess, He forgives; when we stop pretending, He shelters; when we are fully known, we can finally rejoice. So today, read Psalm 32 and ask the Lord for one faithful step: stop hiding, receive His grace, and walk in the joy of being forgiven.

1 John 1 - August 21, 2026

https://square.link/u/UHRU92rp - Donate Here Today’s reading brings us back to 1 John 1, where John calls us to stop hiding and walk in the light. God is light, and in Him there is no darkness at all. Darkness cannot drive out light—light always wins. So if there are dark places in our lives, the answer is not denial, hiding, or spiritual pretending; the answer is to come into the light. 1 John 1 reminds us that sin often progresses through deception: we lie to others, then to ourselves, and eventually we act as if God is the liar. But the gospel stands right in the middle of our hiding—the blood of Jesus cleanses us, and when we confess, God is faithful and just to forgive. So today, read 1 John 1 and agree with God: stop hiding, confess your sin, and walk in the freedom of His light.
