Today’s reading takes us to Psalm 32, where David shows us the freedom of being fully known. Sin makes us hide, and hiding makes us miserable. David says his silence drained him, but confession brought him into the joy of forgiveness. The sin he tried to cover in secrecy was covered far better by the grace of God.

Psalm 32 reminds us that the God we hide from becomes the God we hide in. When we confess, He forgives; when we stop pretending, He shelters; when we are fully known, we can finally rejoice.
