Today’s reading brings us back to 1 John 1, where John calls us to stop hiding and walk in the light. God is light, and in Him there is no darkness at all. Darkness cannot drive out light—light always wins. So if there are dark places in our lives, the answer is not denial, hiding, or spiritual pretending; the answer is to come into the light.
