Welcome to Cager’s Coffee Break!
Have you ever spent ten minutes looking for something that was right in front of you? You move papers. You check drawers. You accuse somebody else of moving it. You say, “I KNOW I put it right here!” Then you discover it sitting exactly where you put it. Now you have two choices. Admit you overlooked it...or quietly pick it up and never mention the incident again. I vote for option number two. Today we're talking about Janise Joy, a blend of Colombian, Ethiopian, and Mexican coffees that comes together in a smooth medium roast. Here’s something fascinating about coffee: where coffee grows matters. Coffee is grown in regions around the world where climate, elevation, rainfall, soil, and growing conditions can influence the beans that are produced. That's one reason coffees from different origins can bring different characteristics to a blend. When a blend combines coffees from several origins, the goal is often to bring complementary qualities together into one balanced cup. Think of it like a choir. One voice may be beautiful by itself, but when several different voices come together in harmony, something entirely new can happen. That's part of what makes a blend like Janise Joy interesting. And isn't life a little like that? We don't all have the same personalities, talents, experiences, or backgrounds. Thank goodness! Imagine a world where everyone was exactly like you. Actually, don't think about that too long. You might start arguing with yourself. Life becomes richer when different people bring their gifts together. So today's coffee break is about enjoying the blend—not only in our coffee, but in life. Call somebody who makes you laugh. Encourage somebody who needs it. Smile at the cashier. Hold the door for the person behind you. Little things can change somebody's day. And while you're at it, pour yourself a cup of Janise Joy and enjoy your own little moment of happiness.
You can find Janise Joy at www.cagerscoffeehut.com.
And if you spend ten minutes searching for your coffee mug only to discover you're already holding it...I promise I won't tell anybody. Thanks for joining me today...and remember keep brewing kindness one cup at a time"
