Chronological Reading of the Bible - Day 276 - October 3, 2026

This is part of a year long reading of the Bible chronologically in a harmonized format.

Isaiah 28:1 - 29:24

- Isaiah warns the proud leaders of Ephraim and the scoffers in Jerusalem who trust in a covenant with death, while God lays a tested cornerstone in Zion as a sure foundation.

- God rebukes a people who honor Him with their lips while their hearts are far from Him, and He promises a day when the deaf will hear, the blind will see, and the humble will rejoice.

Acts 20:4 - 20:16

- Paul travels with his companions to Troas, where Eutychus falls from a window during Paul's long teaching and Paul brings him back to life.

- Paul then sails on toward Jerusalem, passing Ephesus because he wants to arrive by the day of Pentecost.
