Chronological Reading of the Bible - Day 275 - October 2, 2026

This is part of a year long reading of the Bible chronologically in a harmonized format.

Hosea 9:1 - 14:9

- Hosea warns that Israel will be punished and sent into exile for idolatry and for trusting in kings, idols, and foreign powers instead of God.

- God remembers loving Israel like a son and cannot give them up, and He calls them to return, promising to heal their faithlessness and make them flourish again.

Romans 16:1 - 16:27

- Paul commends Phoebe and sends greetings to many coworkers and friends in Rome, men and women who served the church faithfully.

- He warns the believers to avoid people who cause division, then closes by praising God, who strengthens them through the gospel of Jesus Christ.
