🌸 When Life Paints a Different Picture
What happens when the life unfolding in front of us looks different from the picture we once imagined? In this episode of LoTus M Mighty, I’m reflecting on the pictures we begin creating for our lives long before we know how the story will actually unfold—and the beautiful abundance that can appear when we leave room for something different. I share a deeply personal part of my own story: receiving a prenatal Down syndrome diagnosis for our youngest son, the uncertainty I carried while trying to imagine a future I had never experienced, and the moment I finally held him in my arms and knew with complete certainty that he was exactly perfect for our family. What once sat outside the picture I had imagined became something I could never imagine our family picture without. We also explore the other ways our pictures evolve—through motherhood and our children’s beautifully unique paths, through unexpected circumstances, and through the intentional choices we make when something new feels more aligned with our goals and dreams. Because sometimes life adds a new color to the canvas, and sometimes we are the ones invited to pick up the brush. This is an episode about faith, gratitude, possibility, motherhood, abundance, and remaining beautifully expectant for everything God may still be adding to the picture. The picture can be different and still be extraordinary. And some of its most beautiful colors may be the ones we never knew to put on the palette.
