Their journey started in the 80s when her Mum and Dad began with just 10-20 beehives as a side project. Fast forward to 2007, they opened 'The Beekeepers Inn' retail outlet, and the business expanded to an impressive 12,000 hives. Although they faced a setback last year with 2,000 hives lost due to the Varroa incursion, they're holding strong still with 10,000.

The family farming business thrives on diversification—a principle passed down by Mum and Dad to ensure resilience in tough seasons.
