In today’s episode, we delve into the Adlerian theory (see book “The Courage to be Disliked”) of vertical and horizontal relationships. When we put ourselves above or below someone, that is a vertical relationship. When we honor someone exactly where they are, that’s a horizontal relationship. We should aim to have horizontal relationships regardless of position, experience, title, etc.
