Let's welcome Simone Baldacci to the podcast. Simone is one of the many talented contributors to Hadean Press’ Conjure Codex series, and today we settle down to talk about his essay, 'Mother, Daimones and Goetia: Ecstasy and Civilisation.'

Together we go over the speculative origins of the wandering Goês, tackling a far broader and more encompassing definition of the title, and the various species of daimones which can be found threaded through ancient sources which connect them. Being a Blacksmith and metal worker, Simone offers his insights into the nature of Metal, the forge, its qualities and virtues in its various physical and mythic forms as Primal Matter.
