In 2012, John suffered a severe mental health crisis. His unique recovery story led to his retirement from corporate work and served as the theme for his one man show Home From Here, which plays to standing ovations. The overwhelmingly positive reception to the show and the sharing of other people's stories at them gave birth to the Home From Here Show, a globally ranked talk/music show.
