Anchored 35: Why are you Troubled?

The disciples were gathered together, frightened and confused, when suddenly the risen Jesus appeared among them and said, “Peace to you.” Startled, they thought they were seeing a ghost—but Jesus reassured them, showing His hands and feet, even eating in front of them to prove He was truly alive.

“Why are you troubled?” Jesus asked. It was a question not just for those first disciples, but for all who wrestle with fear, doubt, and uncertainty. The resurrection changes everything. The One who was crucified now stands victorious over sin and death. Because He lives, we no longer have reason to live in fear.
