In a world that tells us who we are and what we should be it is important to cling on Gods word. When we find our identitiy in Christ we are pushing aside the lies of the enemy. It is important for us as Christians not to get caught up in what we should look like, how good of a wife or mother we are, what people think of us, the car we drive, or how much money we have. As women, we especially get caught up in this empty hole the devil wants us to fall in.
In Proverbs 27:6 it says " Faithful are the wounds of a friend; but the kisses of an enemy are deceitful." Yes, it is important that when our Christian friends warn us in love about our sinful actions it is important to listen. It may sting but if they genuinely care about you then you should listen.
