The Commercialization of Rayge & Rap

In the podcast I discuss the commercialization of the “rage” aesthetic within the Rap Music Genre. Our modern world derives entertainment from some extremely questionable characters of which make some decently laughable decisions and remarks. As an artist contributing to this sub genre I do believe that there is a small percentage of people working to change the definition of “Rage Rap” which today seems to be less than applicable to an average listener. Artists like Lil Uzi Vert & Playboi Carti seem to be tasked with carrying out this aesthetic in its majority; they don’t do treacherous...but there needs to be a better representation of emotion and rageful emotion WITHOUT any questionable intentions whatsoever.
