while Elliot finds his last font in Japan, I had the pleasure of sitting down with my mentor, colleague, and friend Michael Carney. join us in an extra long discussion on finding confidence, working in apparel design, and winning a GRAMMY??!! for RECORD PACKAGING??!!! I wrote a paper on Michael when I was in college about his cover for the black keys, and how much it changed the way I view design. I am immensely grateful for his guidance in my career, and his kindness as a friend.
