Kim Fontaine-Skronski is a graduate from McGill University (M.A in Political Science) and holds a Ph.D. in Political Science from Laval University in Québec city. Her research focuses mainly on international trade and the multilateral negotiations at the World Trade Organization (WTO). Cumulating more than 20 years of experience in the political and academic fields, Kim served as Political Adviser to the Minister of Culture and Communications of Quebec (2003-2007) after working in the Political and Cultural Affairs Section at the Canadian Embassy in Austria (1999-2001). Since 2019, she is the Executive Director of the International Political Science Association (IPSA) based at Concordia University, where she also teaches a graduate seminar on International Trade.
