Escondido Mayor Dane White - Clean Up of Escondido Creek Homeless Encampment

Mayor Dane White returns to discuss the clean up of the Escondido Creek Homeless Encampment on December 16, the impact of measure I on making this possible, and what 2025 holds for the city.

Elected in November, 2022, Dane White is Escondido's youngest mayor at age 33. White is a fifth generation Escondido native. He is married to Kelsey White, a special education teacher. They have two daughters SonnyJan and Hattie. He comes to the mayor’s job from serving on the Escondido Union High School District board.
