Using Diet to Ease Autoimmune Symptoms

It took my doctor telling me that I was going to live with debilitating symptoms for the rest of my life for me to wake up and truly realize that unless I took my health into my own hands, I would continue to suffer in pain. I had the biggest mental breakdown I ever had in my car and then I wiped my tears away and said fu*k no. I am going to figure this out. And that is exactly what I did. I knew I hated taking medicine and I knew I wanted to heal myself through food. I put my doctor's words aside and did everything to help myself. Now I am passing the baton to you. This is an episode to help you discover how you can use food as a way to heal your body. It won't happen overnight & it takes a lot of time and dedication, but IT IS POSSIBLE. Steps to Safely Eat Out with Celiac Disease

One of the most difficult challenges of Celiac Disease is learning how to incorporate your diagnosis into life and be able to attend social events with friends! The Importance of Keeping a Positive Mindset When Your Diagnosis Get's Hard

Mindset is everything when you live with an autoimmune disease. How you choose to think about the life you were given decides how life will treat you. If you choose a negative mindset, you will find it harder to overcome medical obstacles in your way. You will find it harder to overcome your symptoms. If you choose to think positively, you are choosing strength. You are gaining power from not letting your diagnosis consume you. In today's episode, I discuss how you can find that positive mindset. I don't just talk about how you can achieve this mindset; instead, we do some exercises to help you establish routines and lifestyle changes that will ingrain this mindset within you. Grab a pen and a piece of paper! In addition to some actionable exercises, I also teach you how to improve aspects of your life to be more positive, use pain and turn that into power to grow, and learn to recognize the small positives in life while not always focusing on the negatives. One workout, a dinner meal idea, and an ending affirmation are highlighted.
