Direct Energy Weapons or DEW's are much more than just space lasers. In fact, they may not be space lasers at all. DEW's can be used for crowd control, to shoot down planes, to attack enemies, and they might be controlling the weather. An interesting thing about Direct Energy Weapons is our phones in our pockets may be a DEW. There is a theory that 5G is a weapon, but we don't realize it. In the last couple of decades there have been patents submitted for direct energy weapons to be used on individuals.
