The Burros travel to Virginia Beach and meet with the pastor of Berean Bible Church, David Curtis to hear his testimony. When David was a young man he was given a bible tract at work one day by a coworker that ultimately changed his life. He began a study of the bible in college and began laboring for the church. Soon he had a crisis of faith when his understanding of certain passages in the scripture didn't line up with his beliefs. Ultimately he chose to allow the bible to change his beliefs and he left the church he was pastoring. As others within the church broke fellowship with him and his family due to his newly adopted views of the scriptures he and a close friend began Berean Bible Church. That was twenty five years ago.
