Jesus, The Prince of Peace

In the 1965 T.V. Special “A Charlie Brown Christmas” Charlie Brown dramatically cries out, “Isn’t there anyone who knows what Christmas is all about?” His friend Linus steps forward, with his blankly in his hand, and says, “Sure, Charlie Brown I can tell you what Christmas is all about.” Linus goes on to quote Luke Ch2. Vs.8-14 and says, “That’s what Christmas is all about Charlie Brown.” This world needs more Linus’; people who are willing to speak the truth in love. The truth is God became a man in the person of Christ; the Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Father of Eternity, and Prince of Peace. With all the things we enjoy about the Christmas season, none compares to knowing the Prince of Peace, the one who forgave us, loves us, and gives rest to our weary souls.
