Doug is the Co-Founder and Executive Director of Huddle Up Academy. A native of New Haven, CT, Doug attended Hopkins School, where he played football and basketball for four years. He earned All-New England Class C honors in football and received the prestigious Charles Dorrance Award, the school's highest athletic honor. After one year at Union College, Doug transferred to the University of Connecticut, where he played football and earned a spot on the 2022 AAC All-Academic Team. He was also a runner-up for the 2022 UConn Male Community Outreach Athlete of the Year award.
