Physical education has been around since 386 BC! Although we aren't necessarily preparing children to be warriors today like they were back then, the goal is still to help children become healthier and fitter. Due to changes in our society, especially in the worlds of activity and nutrition, Physical Education is more important than ever! But to meet those needs, we have to reimagine what Physical Education is and how it should be implemented.
