Hello people - welcome to another episode of Connversations! In this episode, I sit down with one of Connor's closest friends, Ryan Di Folco - as he shares his memories with Conn - their friendship in general, but also his last interactions with Conn. It was a really tough subject to navigate, but I hope our honest discussion might bring comfort or help to anyone supporting someone with suicidal thoughts. We then also discuss Ryan's passion for football and fitness - and how these have helped his mental health through the years! Ryan - I am so proud of you for coming on. I know this was so out of your comfort zone, and I'm really impressed with you that you plucked up the courage to come on and be so vulnerable! I know Conn would've been amazed. Have a good week all! 💚

Hi people! Welcome to the second episode of the Connversations podcast (finally!) In this episode, I am joined with Connor Barkley-Rogers and Dennis Gardiner, as we discuss everything about Take The Conn (TTC) - the community movement, now recently turned CIC that I (Finn) run alongside my mum. We discuss everything from the roots of TTC, when and why it started back in February 2024, and the journey we've been on since, and how our events have impacted both Connor and Dennis! Connor and Dennis are two individuals that really share the heartbeat of TTC and what we're all about. They are true supporters of what we're building here, and I cannot thank them enough for all the support. Here's to a bright future for TTC! I hope you all enjoy - let us know your thoughts in the comments, and don't forget to subscribe! 💚

Welcome to the very FIRST episode of Connversations - a mental health podcast, hosted by myself (Finn Tumber) through Take The Conn, that has TWO main core aims: 1. Encourage and normalise mental health conversations through having genuine and unfiltered chats (notice how we've stopped bleeping swear words 😉) 2. Encourage the guest to share any coping mechanisms/words of inspiration that has helped them deal with their own mental health for the viewer/listener. Overall, we plan that through this podcast, we can show the viewer that it can be very normal to get deep about mental health issues, but also leave them each episode feeling inspired and ready to take on their day, It is still the same cool host in the blue chair 😏 but with Connversations, we are going IN! Let's all start having a #connversation 💚 For our first episode, I'm joined by the amazing Zoe, who opens up about her journey with anxiety and OCD. Thank you so much for coming on the pod Zoe, you did fantastically well and I'm so proud of you for plucking up the courage to do so! I'm sure what you said will certainly help someone out there. We hope you all enjoy!

Welcome back to the second BONUS episode of The Conn'Cast Podcast! And not only is this a bonus episode, but it's a special one. I am joined by my long term brother (from a different mother!) Ibra 💚 Me and Ibra met on PlayStation in 2015 through Connor, and man what a ride it has been since! From the FIFA/COD days all the way to recording a podcast with the man himself - what a journey. I just wish Conn could've been here to see this, and all that we've achieved since! It's still a pinch me moment that you're even here in the UK still! On this episode, Ibra opens up about his mental health experiences; from early childhood and during his upbringing in Jordan, to then moving to the UK in 2022 and how his life has been since! We then obviously touch on Connor quite a bit, which was so lovely to discuss. ❤️ I love you Ibra - thank you so much for offering to come on and open up about your experiences on such a public platform! As much as Conn would've laughed at us, deep down he'd have been so impressed. Hope everyone has an amazing week ahead!

MEN-TALK.UK 💚

Bonus
Hello everyone - long time no see! Welcome to a BONUS episode of The Conn'Cast Podcast! In this episode, we are joined by Ryan and Rowland of Men-Talk.Uk - a community interest company dedicated to breaking the stigma surrounding men's mental health. They offer free weekly peer-support meetings in Sheerness, Kent (Every Friday evening at 7pm), that provide a safe environment for men to share experiences, listen, and support one another over a cup of tea or coffee. Ryan and Rowland both shared their experiences on mental health; why they started Men-Talk.Uk in the first place - how it has grown in recent years, as well as sharing a bit of their own personal stories throughout their lives, especially with their own mental health! It was so lovely chatting to you both, thank you for being so upfront and honest during our conversation (I appreciate it isn't always the easiest) and keep up the amazing work - you are all doing fantastic. And remember people, you are not alone. 💚 Links 👇 Website: https://men-talk.uk/ Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/p/Men-TalkUk-100082996248898/

Jas 💚

Hey guys, welcome to number 21 of The Conn’Cast! In this episode, I am joined by Jasmine Barker as she discusses her mental health throughout her life, namely the idea of setting boundaries and being too much of a people pleaser (something that I can SO relate to 🤭) We then also discuss some other random bits (such as Center Parcs) but also AI and how this can affect your mental health and support you can find! Thank you so much Jas for coming on, you were fantastic company and I really enjoyed chatting with you! I hope everyone has an AMAZING first week of Feb, take care. 💚
