Fight club,Toxic masculinity & men's mental health.
Fight Club didn’t become iconic because men want violence. It became iconic because men are starving for real, healthy guidance. In this video, I share my perspective on toxic masculinity, men’s mental health, and what Fight Club actually got right — and wrong — about male power, trauma, and responsibility. Most conversations about toxic masculinity completely miss the point. They either blame men, soften everything into therapy language men don’t relate to, or pretend the solution is simply “be nicer.” Fight Club understood that something was deeply wrong with men — but it misunderstood what the solution was. This video explores: • Why Fight Club is really about unexpressed male pain • The difference between toxic masculinity and healthy masculine power • Why responsibility is the missing piece in modern masculinity • How unprocessed trauma turns into control, volatility, or collapse • Why men don’t need containment — they need initiation, direction, and accountability • What women and partners need to stop carrying for men • And what real masculine maturity actually looks like I also share personal experiences of growing up with war-related trauma in the home, and later being in relationship with a man who hid his trauma — and how secrecy doesn’t heal trauma, it mutates it. This is not an attack on men. It’s an invitation into responsibility, embodiment, and real power. If this resonates, share it with a man you care about. Not as an accusation. As an invitation. Because the most dangerous thing isn’t male strength — it’s male pain with no place to go.
