Geek Down - Sonic 2, Human Resources, Fantastic Beasts 3, Thermae Romae Novae

We are kicking things off with Sonic the Hedgehog 2, which gets its proper recognition for leveling up the franchise with bigger action, the long-awaited arrival of Tails and Knuckles, and giving Jim Carrey the space to be Jim Carrey. We dive deep into the chaotic, hormonal madness of Human Resources, dissecting how this spin-off doubles down on the crude, unfiltered humor that the Big Mouth universe is famous for. Then we pivot to the absolute fever dream that is Thermae Romae Novae, breaking down why this bizarre journey through Roman bath history and time travel is one of the most unique things streaming right now. We close the session by addressing the elephant in the room with Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore, putting on blast the messy storytelling and the undeniable fact that this franchise has completely lost its spark.
