President Trump Launches New Baltimore Shipyard

President Donald J. Trump's full remarks at the launch of construction on Anduril Industries' new Arsenal-2 shipyard at Sparrows Point in Baltimore County, Maryland.
The President said Anduril is investing $3.7 billion in the shipyard, which will build autonomous submarines, torpedo tubes and components for the Navy's Virginia-class attack submarines. He said the Navy is contributing an additional $2.9 billion, American taxpayers will receive a 40 percent stake, and the project will create more than 3,100 jobs in Maryland and support 11,000 more across the country.
He also spoke about the conflict with Iran and the naval blockade, operations against drug cartels and in Venezuela, defense spending, tariffs and the economy, and recognized sailors from the USS Billings, midshipmen from the U.S. Naval Academy and players from the Baltimore Ravens.
