Dean is a retired educator with over 35 years of experience as a middle and high school math teacher, assistant principal, and school principal. He worked in New York and a variety of schools California. He has traditionally worked in underserved communities and has both built schools from the ground up as well as helping turn schools around. He has mentored numerous educators who have moved on to become assistant principals, principals, and even higher up in education.
