Lieutenant Henry has had knee surgery, a bit of scolding from the nursing staff, & a short break from spending time with Catherine while he heals. Frederick Henry was severely wounded, transported to Milano for treatment where he reunited with Catherine, underwent knee surgery, & spent the summer doing physical therapy & entertaining himself. As if that weren’t enough, he was diagnosed with jaundice, lost his convalescent leave, discovered that he now has an alcohol use disorder & a baby on the way.
