Frederick & Catherine’s summer romance is in full swing as he recovers from his injuries. They’ve discussed their future together with no definite plans. Their fate rests almost entirely with the men who are perpetuating the God-awful war.

In this episode, we will continue reading Ernest Hemingway’s novel A Farewell to Arms. Last time, we read chapter EIGHTEEN in book TWO, & now I will continue the story with chapter NINETEEN. This is a longer chapter so I will be publishing it in two parts. After reading the chapter, I will follow up with quick facts & my impressions.
