Episode notes
Welcome to the Mount Zion Church Podcast! Join us for our weekly Sunday Psalms reading and preaching recorded live in Ahmedabad.
In this episode, we study Psalm 141, an evening prayer of David seeking protection from both internal temptation and external snares. As David compares his prayer to burning incense, he asks the Lord to guard his speech, keep his heart aligned with righteousness, and keep his eyes fixed on God amidst the traps of the wicked.
📖 Key Scripture: Psalm 141
"Set a guard, O LORD, over my mouth; keep watch over the door of my lips! Do not let my heart incline to any evil, to busy myself with wicked deeds in company with men who work iniquity, and let me not eat of their delicacies!" — Psalm 141:3–4
