Season 1

Spirit Katana Week 20

We explore the first letter to Timothy and touch on some controversial topics of what role (if any) we have in salvation, women teachers, and whether or not Paul and/or God approves of slavery.

Spirit Katana Week 19

We sharpen up some of our understanding of 2 Thessalonians this week. More discussions on constant prayer, idleness and disruptiveness, and bad miracles or wonders.

Spirit Katana Week 18

This week we journey through 1 Thessalonians and talk about being idle and disruptive and minding our own business.

Spirit Katana Week 17

This week we journey through Colossians. We tangent onto the idea of infinite space and how it is beyond our ability to comprehend and how that fact points to a creator.

Spirit Katana Week 16

This week we discuss Philippians which leads into talk of eternity, anxiety, and focusing not on earthly things but heavenly ones.

Spirit Katana Week 15

We only go through 4 chapters this week as we wrap up Ephesians and apparently had plenty to talk about such as being prisoners in or for Christ and what it means to die to self.

Spirit Katana Week 14

This week we go through Galatians and hit the first couple chapters of Ephesians. Some chat about what Predesination and Revelation means and also talk about the Holy Spirit, Spirit of Wisdom, and what the spirit of the ruler of the kingdom of Air is.

Spirit Katana Week 13

This week we close out 2 Corinthians and hit the first chapter of Galatians. It's a shorter episode but we hit on things such as whether or not it is good to boast and who we should be trying to please. Spoliers: It's not other people.

Spirit Katana Week 12

We begin 2 Corinthians with our thoughts...er Ruby's thoughts on chapters 1-8.

Spirit Katana Week 11

Wrapping up 1 Corinthians this week and we get to tackle "The Love Chapter" and see how it actually is important in relation to spiritual gifts as it is tucked between chapters 12 and 14 which have plenty to say about gifts. Some topics touched on are Continuationism, cessationism, egalitarian, and complimentarian.
