Episode notes
Preached June 21, 2026 by Adam Miller · Series: Ask Me Why I'm Hopeful (I & II Peter) · Text: 2 Peter 3:1–13
Scoffers ask, "Where is the promise of his coming?" Peter answers that God is not slow to return. He is slow to anger, because he is not willing that any should perish, and he wants all to reach repentance. The day of the Lord will come like a thief. Until then we are called to repent, to tell others, and to "wait for and hasten" that day while we look for new heavens and a new earth.
