Episode notes
Preached July 12, 2026 by Adam Miller · Series: Summer Psalms, Book II · Text: Psalms 42–43
"Why are you cast down, O my soul?" The sons of Korah give us a lament from someone whose tears have been their food day and night. This psalm shows that we can bring our heaviest emotions to God unfiltered. It also teaches us to preach hope to our own souls, and it traces how the same cries of lament in Psalm 42 turn into praise by Psalm 63.
