Alabama, geographically, is a prime location for RV snowbirds. It’s located west of Georgia, north of the Florida Panhandle, and south of Tennessee making it easily accessible to spend a winter or visit for a few days, especially if you’re travelling southbound on the popular I-75 from Canada and select areas of the Midwestern United States.

The community of Gulf Shores at the south end of the state just west of Pensacola on the north end Gulf of Mexico. Although it may be cooler than its neighbouring state to the east in the fall and through winter, it’s a comfortable climate for outdoor recreation such as golfing and enjoying its popular 52 km (32 mi) of sand beaches.
