So, like, have you ever tried starting up the movie Shrek at the same time as playing Pink Floyd's album Wish You Were Here? It's freakin' wild man.

The way that the music and movie sync up is just insane. It's like the universe is telling us that these two things were meant to be together, ya know? The album's melancholic melodies and poignant lyrics just blend perfectly with the whimsical and sometimes serious moments in the film.

And like, there are some parts where the music seems to be speaking directly to what's happening on screen. For example, during the opening credits when "Shine On You Crazy Diamond" starts playing, you can just feel the emotion pouring out of the speakers as the movie introduces us to Shrek's lonely swamp.
