Stand and Deliver: A JoJo Podcast

Stand and Deliver: A JoJo Podcast

by Larry Davis & George Brundle

Season 2

Week 11 [Season 2, Episodes 10-12]

We're back, after a week gone due to E3 bizness. Sorry about that, really. Won't happen again! In this week's episodes: Hol Horse finally appears, alongside J. Geil. Joseph fights an evil tumor. You know, normal stuff. We also spend too long talking about Detroit: Become Human. You know, normal stuff. [Music used: Intro -- Freeze Frame by J. Geils Band | Outro -- 99 Luftballons by Nena]

Week 12 [Season 2, Episodes 13-15]

George continues to come up with horrifying hypotheticals as we discuss killer cars and ghost skulls. I also find out that I sound too much like Tommy Wiseau, why you should always go to a doctor if your butt's backed up, and the fact that we are now both locked into this for far longer than we had anticipated. [Music used: Intro -- Legs by ZZ Top | Outro -- Civilization (Live from Access All Arenas) by Justice. Yeah, I know the stand Justice wasn't named after them but I'll be goddamned if I'm gonna end this podcast with a fucking Enya song.]

Week 13 [Season 2, Episodes 16-18]

This week, we discuss brain-bug Stands, weirdos in the desert, Stone Cold Steve Austin's ground beef-based brush with death, and more! [Music used: Intro -- Bodhisattva by Steely Dan | Outro -- Blueberry Hill by Fats Domino]

Week 14 [Season 2, Episodes 19-22]

This week, we take an opportunity to pay tribute to a giant of the industry that we lost too soon -- a visionary talent that means a lot to us. Rest in peace, Robby Müller. Your work will always be here for us, and for that we are grateful. [Music used: Intro -- Word Up by Cameo | Outro -- Mannish Boy by Muddy Waters Throughout: Various songs from the OSTs of: Dead Man, Mystery Train, Down by Law, The American Friend, Until The End of the World, and Paris, Texas.]

Week 15 [Season 2, Episodes 23-26]

This week, on Stand and Deliver: We discuss trips to the dentist, coffee-flavored chewing gum, when Yu Yu Hakusho went downhill, Araki suddenly remembering Jotaro exists, and EVERYONE. IN THE CHAT ROOM. IS FUCKING YELLING AT ME. [Music used: Intro -- Search and Destroy by Iggy and the Stooges | Outro -- Wind Beneath My Wings by Bette Midler]

Week 16 [Season 2, Episodes 27-29]

Due to George being out of town soon, and not giving me any notice (he claims he did but I DO NOT BELIEVE IT) it's everyone's favorite: a sleep-deprived recording! Look, I'm sorry about how this all turned out, but there will be a ~special~ episode coming in the feed soon to make up for it. On the subject of JoJo: We finally meet supercreeps Oingo and Boingo, as well as scary monster Anubis. I wonder about animation errors with regards to swords, and George can't figure out what movie to pair with a delicious footlong sub. Eat fresh. [Music used: Intro -- Private Life by Oingo Boingo | Outro -- Sweet Thing by Rufus Ft. Chaka Khan]

Week 17 [Season 2, Episodes 30-33]

This week, we discuss the implications of straight shota, which Ernest movie is the best, Japan's attitudes towards homosexuality, and what variety of cockroach you'd like to have infest your house. [Music used: Intro -- Seabird by The Alessi Brothers | Outro -- I Wanna Be Your Dog by Iggy Pop, because I could not find a tolerable Mariah Carey song]

Week 18 [Season 2, Episodes 34-37]

On this week's episode of Stand and Deliver: A JoJo Podcast, we discuss RoboCop 2. [Music used: Intro -- Country Sweat by Oingo Boingo (from Boingo Alive) | Outro -- Wishing Well by Terence Trent D'Arby]

Week 19 [Season 2, Episodes 38-41 and some of 42]

NOTE: We call an audible due to the weird way these episodes are split up, and also discuss the first half of Episode 42, which is the actual end of the D'Arby stuff. No idea why that wasn't just called D'Arby part three, but whatever. Oh, and we talk about RoboCop 3. George also gets to read some Tsuda notes, and finds out he doesn't want to be inside Tsuda's head. [Music used: Intro -- West End Girls by Pet Shop Boys | Outro -- Big Blue from F-Zero OST]

Week 20 [Season 2, Episodes 42-44]

After a week off due to George having a Medical Emergency, we're back with two-and-a-half episodes, because of the crazy way they produced these things! "I'm tired of doing Wario." - Larry Davis [Music used: Intro -- Ice Ice Baby by Vanilla Ice | Outro: Hey, How Ya Doing by Kenny G]
