A Prayer about CHARACTER
When I find myself wanting to be a woman whom others admire.
O LORD,
I confess that I sometimes put my emphasis on something that does not last-my outward appearance. I want others to admire me, but I know that outward beauty is not what will spur true admiration.
Teach me that the most admirable qualities grow from having deep respect for you. I want to reflect your character, God. As I do that, may I develop the qualities that others can look up to.
Charm is deceptive, and beauty does not last; but a woman who fears the LORD will be greatly praised. Amein
