But this is not a book without hope; following judgment, hope remains. In the last chapter of the Book of Amos, God promises He will "plant" His people in the land and "no longer shall they be pulled up" (Amos 9:15).
God's covenant with His people would not be forgotten; He is the ultimate promise keeper.
