In 1 Chronicles 29:11, King David prays these words: “Yours, O Lord, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the majesty and the splendor, for everything in heaven and on earth is Yours.”
This is not a rushed prayer. It’s not a desperate cry. It’s a moment of holy recognition.
David stands before God fully aware of who God is—and who he is not. He acknowledges that all greatness, all power, all glory, and all majesty belong to the Lord alone. Nothing is borrowed. Nothing is temporary. Nothing is shared.
Today, we’ll explore what it truly means to live in light of God’s majesty—and how recognizing His greatness reshapes our worship, our surrender, and our daily lives.
