Season 4

Monty Python's The Life of Brian (w/ guest FM DeMarco)

Blessed are the cheesemakers (and all manufacturers of dairy products), and blessed are Podcast Part 3's listeners because Sam and Will are talking about Monty Python's legendary third feature film, The Life of Brian! And since any good biblical epic needs three kings, they've brought back FM DeMarco of the Tuesday Morning Screening Room to provide the gold alongside their usual frankincense and myrrh. Venom: The Last Dance

It's called The Last Dance because An Extremely Goofy Movie was already taken. Spoiler alert for Spider-Man: Brand New Day because Sam and Will couldn't stay on topic. Music: Backbeat by Kevin MacLeod (https://incompetech.filmmusic.io/) via Creative Commons license. (https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/3.0/legalcode)

Lone Wolf and Cub: Baby Cart to Hades

70s grindhouse meets Criterion arthouse in 1972's Lone Wolf and Cub: Baby Cart to Hades. Basically it's The Mandalorian and Grogu with an excessive amount of sexual violence in the first act. Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End

Nothing we like better than lovelorn fish men here at Podcast Part 3, so much so that we made it through nearly three hours of complicated maritime backstabbing with 2007's Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End! Highlander III: The Sorcerer

THERE CAN BE ONLY THREE! (Or more...) Also known as Highlander: The Final Dimension. Neither title makes sense. Music: Backbeat by Kevin MacLeod (https://incompetech.filmmusic.io/) via Creative Commons license. (https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/3.0/legalcode)

A Mighty Wind

On the latest Podcast Part 3, we pay a belated tribute to the great Catherine O'Hara by taking a look at 2003's A Mighty Wind, the third in Christopher Guest's mockumentary trilogy. Spoiler alert: It's very good. Another spoiler alert: She's great in it. Music: Backbeat by Kevin MacLeod (https://incompetech.filmmusic.io/) via Creative Commons license. Tron: Ares

Turn up the Nine Inch Nails and/or Depeche Mode, because it's time for a third crack at making Tron a thing (the franchise, not the character... never the character). It's 2025's Tron: Ares, a movie that'll make you sad that Daft Punk broke up all over again.

Season 3

The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies

Podcast Part 3 is staggering into the new year with yet another big beefy fantasy thing to talk about... this time it's The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies, a 2.5 hour adaptation of about 15 pages of Tolkein's original book. Music: Backbeat by Kevin MacLeod (https://incompetech.filmmusic.io/) via Creative Commons license. (https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/3.0/legalcode)

Avatar: Fire and Ash

We interrupt our regularly scheduled bitch sesh about The Hobbit to bring you the newest, hottest threequel in town. That's right, the boys are talking Avatar: Fire and Ash and all the visually spectacular horny cat-alien weirdness you can handle! Music: Backbeat by Kevin MacLeod (https://incompetech.filmmusic.io/) via Creative Commons license. (https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/3.0/legalcode)

The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King

We come back to you now, at the turn of the tide... because it's time to talk about the conclusion to the Best. Trilogy. Ever. Music: Backbeat by Kevin MacLeod (https://incompetech.filmmusic.io/) via Creative Commons license. (https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/3.0/legalcode)
