Season 2

Staying Fortified in a World That's Accelerating

Does anyone else feel like reality is speeding up faster than the nervous system can comfortably metabolize? Who else feels: - mentally overstimulated, - emotionally flooded, - creatively restless, - exhausted by constant input, - or increasingly disconnected from what actually nourishes them? As we move toward the Taurus New Moon on May 16 and Gemini season beginning May 20/21 — alongside Uranus newly entering Gemini — we’re entering a much faster era of human experience shaped by accelerating information, technological stimulation, nervous system overwhelm, rapid change, social complexity, and fragmented attention. The deeper question becomes: How do we remain creative, emotionally alive, relational, grounded, and human while the world accelerates around us? In this week’s episode of Our Waking Dream, Coco Swanson explores emotional overwhelm, nervous system regulation, embodiment, modern exhaustion, sensory awareness, emotional resilience, and the importance of building inner steadiness inside increasingly accelerated systems. This episode includes reflections on: - information overload, - emotional processing, - highly sensitive nervous systems, - relational health, - neuroplasticity, - the body’s intelligence, - and simple practices that help restore coherence, discernment, creativity, and emotional grounding during times of uncertainty and rapid change. In this episode, Coco also references the work of Elaine Belle, Alexander Technique specialist and teacher, who has worked closely with her over the last five years: https://elainebelle.com For more about Coco Swanson: https://www.cocoswanson.com Join complimentary live group problem-solving in the Solutions Lab: https://cocoswanson.com/solutions-labs #nervoussystemregulation #highlysensitiveperson #emotionaloverwhelm #burnoutrecovery #modernlife #embodiment #collectivestress #emotionalresilience #geminiseason #ourwakingdream

Disturbed by the State of the World? Ethical Exhaustion During Pluto in Aquarius

Are you feeling increasingly disturbed by the state of the world right now? Leadership failures, media distrust, technological acceleration, visible cruelty, political division, and the growing sense that humanity feels ethically off can create a constant undertow of anxiety, grief, anger, and hopelessness in the body. Many people are carrying collective stress, distrust in leadership, fear about the future, and nervous system fatigue without fully understanding how deeply it is impacting mood, focus, productivity, and sense of safety. We are in the early years of Pluto in Aquarius, a long transit exposing corruption inside collective systems, technological ethics, social structures, and the ways humanity organizes power. Much of what feels disturbing right now is part of a larger dismantling. In this week’s episode of Our Waking Dream, Coco Swanson explores ethical exhaustion, collective distress, and how to consciously work with the heartbreak of what feels deeply off. This episode offers embodied practices to metabolize emotional charge, reclaim personal agency, and participate in change from a steadier internal place. Feeling Scattered & Overstimulated During Uranus in Gemini: How to Trust Your Inner Compass Again

Uranus has moved into Gemini—and we can’t rely on our thinking the same way. More input. More opinions. More speed. More confusion—personally and globally. Information is multiplying. AI is layering over everything. It’s getting harder to know what’s true. Focus fractures. Decision-making gets harder. Even when you’re trying to stay grounded, things don’t land the same way. This is the beginning of Uranus moving into Gemini—a shift that amplifies how we think, communicate, and take in information. In this episode of Our Waking Dream, spiritual strategist and educator Coco Swanson explores how to work with mental overload by building internal coherence. You don’t need more information. You need a way to feel what’s true for you—even when everything around you is loud. For more about Coco Swanson: https://www.cocoswanson.com Complimentary, live problem-solving. Forward Momentum Needs a Foundation: Taurus Season and Making It Sustainable

Who’s feeling a surge of passion, a pull in a new direction—and noticing it’s not landing yet? Ready to move… and it’s not holding? What’s activating in you and what your life can currently sustain aren’t matching. That’s when things get forced, inconsistent, or draining. This is where we overextend or question ourselves. Not because the direction is wrong—but because the capacity to hold it isn’t there yet. Time, energy, nervous system, resources. As Taurus season begins, the work shifts. From movement to stabilization. From starting to fortifying. Clear what’s outdated, regulate your system, and build something that can actually support what you’re stepping into. In this episode of Our Waking Dream, spiritual strategist and educator Coco Swanson explores how to work with forward momentum without burning out—by strengthening the foundation underneath it. You don’t need to push harder. You need to make it hold. Anger, Passion, the Edge Between Reaction & Direction -- New Moon in Aries April 17

How to Build Stability in a Changing World (Uranus at the Final Degree of Taurus)

What's shaken you to your roots over the past 7 years? Work. Money. Your body. What you value. How you live. Things that once felt stable are unraveling. Thank you, Uranus, for rocking our Taurus boat, completing a cycle that's been disrupting stability at its foundation -- your resources,, nervous system, and values. In this episode of Our Waking Dream , strategist and mentor Coco Swanson explores how to build stability now. Not through control, through coherence. Through resourcing our bodies and clarifying how how values have changed -- and aligning with them. Protect Your Forward Motion with Care : Libra Full Moon

It’s easy to feel thrown off in relationships as we near our April 1 Full Moon. You might feel ready to move forward in your life — there’s energy, momentum — and at the same time something in your relationships is asking for attention. Things might feel a bit out of balance. You might notice questions around care — who’s caring for who, where you’re overgiving, where something feels uneven. Resentment can come up. Sensitivities. Old dynamics getting louder. Thank this Full Moon for illuminating discord that’s ready to be harmonized before more movement. This is forward motion — but not at the expense of your relationships or yourself. In this episode of Our Waking Dream, Coco Swanson walks through how to keep your momentum while tending to what’s coming up — so what you’re building can actually hold. Aries Season Crash Course: Impulse, Perfectionism, and How to Move Without Burning Out

Happy Equinox. Aries season is on — anyone feeling an increase in energy, passion, or pressure? For many of us, it can land as a push to act, initiate, and begin — yes. And, Aries is a trial-and-error sign. That same pressure can show up as perfectionism, hesitation, or impulsiveness that doesn’t quite land. This reflects the nature of Aries. It moves fast. It plays. It initiates. And it learns through doing — not through getting it right the first time. In this episode of Our Waking Dream, strategist and mentor Coco Swanson offers a crash course in how to work with this energy well. A small pause can make impulse wiser. Room for error is part of the process. You don’t need to get it perfect to begin — you just need to move in a way that stays connected to yourself. Burnout, Care, and Jupiter Turning Direct in Cancer

Are you feeling emotionally stretched right now? For many of us, the last few months have stirred deeper emotional waters. Feelings and observations about the state of the world that were easier to set aside before may be surfacing again — grief, tenderness, fatigue, or simply the sense that your heart has been carrying more than usual. When emotions build slowly like this, the nervous system often shifts into management mode. We keep functioning and moving forward while a deeper layer of feeling waits quietly underneath the surface. Jupiter now stations direct after months of retrograde through the emotional terrain of Cancer. Moments like this often reopen space to notice what our hearts have been processing and to reflect on the kinds of nurturing environments we hope to create for ourselves and for one another during a larger time of transition. Join spiritual strategist and educator Coco Swanson in this week’s episode of Our Waking Dream as she reflects on emotional processing, nervous system sensitivity, and the simple question many people are quietly asking right now: how kind can we be to ourselves and to each other? You’re also invited to the first free Solutions Lab, a live space where we explore real questions together in real time. Because the sessions are conversational and intentionally small, the Zoom link is shared through Coco’s newsletter.
