On Kharon’s Tithe, a storm-locked weapons moon is being swallowed by the Fractofusus, a silent green organism spreading across the Tithe Coast. A denial platoon enters Foundry Seventeen to recover missile guidance matrices and disable the launch galleries before orbital quarantine fire closes over the coast.

The Fractofusus does not attack like an animal. It spreads through fragments, propagules, runners, water, machinery, seams, drains, and disturbed terrain — and inside the foundry, the still-moving conveyor system is carrying regenerated pieces deeper into sectors marked clean.
