IMPERFECTLY YOU - The Power of Love

No, this is not an exclusive episode featuring Céline Dion and her song, The Power of Love. We’re excited to conclude the Imperfectly You series with amazing insight from Ephesians 2:4-10. God’s grace is a GIFT… a free gift… with no strings attached! “Worthy now. Not if. Not when. We are worthy of love and belonging now. Right this minute. As is.” (Brown) Also, great things only take a week?!? Listen to the full episode here: https://rss.com/podcasts/methodiststothemadness

IMPERFECTLY YOU - The Gifts of Imperfection

Join us (and a very special guest) as we discuss Pastor Jim’s first of two sermons in his Imperfectly You sermon series, focusing on the gifts of imperfection. His sermon derives from Brené Brown's book, The Gifts of Imperfection. How amazing that God loves us, NO MATTER WHAT! Also, what’s next for Tim’s beard adventures?!?

Cordelia's Testimonial - "Jesus: Teacher, Comforter and Friend"

Join us as we discuss an amazing sermon from Cordelia Scheuermann (extra points if you know how to say her last name)! We were so encouraged to hear more about Cordelia's faith journey and the amazing work God has done in her life. Scripture from Matthew 28:16-20 and Micah 6:8. Also, we stand with all those affected by the fires in LA County. <3

Special Guest: Pastor Matt Seargeant - “Who Were These Guys?"

Join us, or help us! We talk about the three wise men, and gain a new perspective on who these guys were. We may or may not be left with more questions, but we’ve likely trained for this. Also, who likes math anyways?!?

Masterpiece - Christmas Edition: “The Adoration of the Magi” & Christmas Pageant/Eve

Join us as we reflect on the Christmas Pageant, Christmas Eve service and the last sermon of the Masterpiece series. So much to celebrate this season, and we are grateful for the joy this podcast has brought our listeners, and US! We will also share an update on the trademark endeavor. Also, Happy Holidays you risky Mad Methodists!

Masterpiece - Christmas Edition: “The Mystical Nativity"

Join us as we discuss Mark 13:14-37 and Pastor Jim's, Masterpiece - Christmas Edition series. It's officially the first week of Advent, and so many wonderful things are coming up for PUMC! Also, if Botticelli made pasta, would he scribe tiny scripture on the noodles?

Music Sunday - Surrendering in Worship

Join us as talk about the Music Sunday led by Jessica, Raymond and Don! Everyone’s faith journey has its own personalized story, where we recognize the need for Jesus, then surrender ourselves to Him. We recognize God’s glory and holiness, finding nourishment and fulfillment in Him alone. We find hope in Jesus, and praise his holy name. Our special guest has some great insight for teachers, so you don't want to miss it! Also, it's almost Thanksgiving?!?
