This trio tackles justice, covenant faithfulness, and the pleas for mercy. Psalm 82 rebukes powerful men who fail to protect the weak, reminding them they are merely human and will one day fall. Psalm 85 reflects on God’s patience and desire that people turn back to Him after straying. Psalm 86 is a heartfelt prayer from David asking for protection, compassion, and remembrance of His covenant promises. Together, they teach us to stand up for justice, trust in God’s grace, and pray earnestly when we feel vulnerable.
