Stuart Lubbock Case up-date 2021

The father of the man found dead in Michael Barrymore's swimming pool 20 years ago has died following a battle with cancer without ever getting justice for his son. Stuart Lubbock, 31, died at Barrymore's £2million mansion in Roydon, Essex, in March 2001. A post-mortem revealed he had suffered severe internal injuries which suggested he had been sexually assaulted. No one has been charged in relation to the death, despite his father Terry, a retired toolmaker who lived in Harlow, mounting a decades-long campaign for justice. Mr Lubbock senior, who earlier this year revealed he had been diagnosed with cancer and said he would 'die of a broken heart', has now passed away at the age of 76. A man arrested on suspicion of the murder and indecent assault of Stuart Lubbock at the home of entertainer Michael Barrymore has been released without charge. Essex Police said there was "insufficient evidence" to charge the unnamed suspect, who is 50. He was arrested in March following "significant new information". Det Ch Insp Stephen Jennings said: "We have explored all possible lines of inquiry and sometimes, regrettably, the evidence is not yet there to issue charges. Sarah Everard: Killed by Wayne Couzens a serving Police Officer (UK - 2021)

On the evening of 3 March 2021, Sarah Everard, a 33-year-old marketing executive, was kidnapped in South London, England, as she was walking home to Brixton Hill from a friend's house near Clapham Common. Metropolitan Police officer Wayne Couzens falsely arrested her under the pretence of having breached COVID-19 regulations and drove her to near Dover where he raped and strangled her, before burning her body and disposing of her remains in a nearby pond. On 9 March, Couzens was arrested in Deal, Kent, first on suspicion of Everard's kidnapping and later on suspicion of her murder. Everard's remains were discovered in woodland near Ashford, Kent on 10 March; following their identification, Couzens was charged with her kidnap and murder. The murder additionally sparked widespread debate about the role of police in British society and the status of women's safety in the UK. On 8 June 2021, Couzens pleaded guilty to Everard's kidnap and rape, and admitted responsibility for her death, and on 9 July 2021 he pleaded guilty to her murder. He was sentenced by Lord Justice Fulford to a whole life order on 30 September 2021.

Unsolved Murders Linked by DNA (Eve Stratford, Lynne Weedon and Lynda Farrow)

Victim (1) Eve Stratford (28 December 1953 – 18 March 1975) was an English Playboy Club bunny and model murdered in 1975. Victim (2) Lynne Weedon (11 November 1958 – 10 September 1975) was a schoolgirl raped and beaten to death six months after Stratford. On the surface, there was nothing to connect the two murders. One victim lived a wild, glamorous life and was found dead in her East London bedroom, her throat slit by an unknown lover. The other was a 16-year-old schoolgirl, raped and bludgeoned as she walked home from a night out with friends in the west of the capital six months later. But almost 30 years later DNA evidence proved the same attacker killed both Eve Stratford and Lynne Weedon in 1975 prompting detectives to ask how many more young women might have been murdered by this mystery assailant. Victim (3) The murder four years after that of Eve Stratford, of pregnant mother-of-two Lynda Farrow, had such strong similarities that some detectives are convinced to this day they must be connected. The 29-year-old croupier had recently left her husband and taken her children to live with a boyfriend when an intruder broke in and stabbed her repeatedly. The horrific scene was discovered by her daughters, 11 and eight, when they came home from school and, unable to get in, peered through the letterbox. Police were convinced Lynda knew her killer, as there was no sign of forced entry at the house in Woodford Green, East London. All these Murder cases remain unsolved

Convicted Killer Christopher Halliwell linked to four more unsolved murders

Four unsolved murders bear striking similarities to the two killings Christopher Halliwell is in jail for: A witness has told how double killer Christopher Halliwell drove a white van like the one spotted at the scene of an unsolved murders. He also revealed the taxi driver lived just four miles from the field where Julie Finley’s naked body was dumped after she had been snatched in a city centre. Julie had just turned 23 when she was last seen in Liverpool at about 11pm on August 5, 1994. The next day, her naked body was found 15 miles away in a field near the Rainford Bypass. The new witness said Halliwell was working in North Wales at the time fitting windows, and was living in Aughton, returning home to Swindon, Wiltshire, at weekends. The witness said Halliwell, a former cab driver, drove a white D-reg Ford Transit van, like one spotted near Rainford. Carol Clark, 32, was picked up from the Bristol red light district in March 1993 before being dumped in a canal at Sharpness, Gloucestershire. It is believed she had either suffered a heavy blow to the neck or been strangled Halliwell lived 40 miles away at the time and had a good knowledge of the canals, as he was a narrowboat enthusiast. Jackie Waines, 35, was a mother abducted in Bristol and murdered in 1985. Yvonne Fitt, also a mother, was found in a shallow grave outside Otley, West Yorkshire in 1992 and, like Ms Waines and Ms Clark, was snatched from red light districts.

Charles "Tex" Watson - The Face of Evil

Tex Watson, known as Charles Watson to his family, was a normal kid — an exceptional one, even. In his hometown of Farmersville, Texas, about an hour northeast of Dallas, he attended church and became a youth group leader in his home state of Texas, he was an A student, and a star athlete in football, basketball, and track. He attended college at North Texas State University. But then, a visit to a friend in California changed Watson’s life forever. Entranced by the hippie counterculture brewing on the West Coast, Watson decided to move there — where he met mass murderer Charles Manson. Watson became Manson’s right-hand man and stood by his side through seven grisly murders.

Charles Milles Manson Part 3

Part 3 Manson was admitted to state prison from Los Angeles County on April 22, 1971, for seven counts of first-degree murder and one count of conspiracy to commit murder for the deaths of Abigail Ann Folger, Wojciech Frykowski, Steven Earl Parent, Sharon Tate Polanski, Jay Sebring, and Leno and Rosemary LaBianca. On January 1, 2017, Manson was suffering from gastrointestinal bleeding at California State Prison , when he was rushed to Mercy Hospital in downtown Bakersfield. A source told the Los Angeles Times that Manson was seriously ill, and TMZ reported that his doctors considered him "too weak" for surgery. He was returned to prison on January 6, and the nature of his treatment was not disclosed. On November 15, 2017, an unauthorized source said that Manson had returned to a hospital in Bakersfield, but the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation did not confirm this in conformity with state and federal medical privacy laws. He died from cardiac arrest resulting from respiratory failure and colon cancer at the hospital on November 19. Three people stated their intention to claim Manson's estate and body.

Charles Milles Manson Part 2

PART 2: The Manson Family. The core members of Manson's group following included: Charles 'Tex' Watson, a musician and former actor; Robert Beausoleil, a former musician and pornographic actor; Mary Brunner, previously a librarian; Susan Atkins; Linda Kasabian; Patricia Krenwinkel; and Leslie Van Houten. Murders The Manson Family developed into a doomsday cult when Manson became fixated on the idea of an imminent apocalyptic race war between America's black population and the larger white population. A white supremacist, Manson believed that black people in America would rise up and kill all whites except for Manson and his "Family", but that they were not intelligent enough to survive on their own; they would need a white man to lead them, and so they would serve Manson as their "master". Late in 1968, Manson adopted the term "Helter Skelter", taken from a song on the Beatles' recently released White Album, to refer to this upcoming war. In early August 1969, Manson encouraged his followers to start Helter Skelter, by committing murders in Los Angeles and making it appear to be racially motivated. The Manson Family gained national notoriety after the murder of actress Sharon Tate and four others in her home on August 8 and 9, 1969, and Leno and Rosemary LaBianca the next day. Family members were also responsible for other assaults, thefts, crimes, and the attempted assassination of President Gerald Ford in Sacramento by Lynette "Squeaky" Fromme.
