Jeremy reconnects with Liz Voci to hear how her work around AI literacy, student creativity, and educator learning has continued to grow.
Liz shares an update on The Perfect Book Project, her Google Innovator project designed to help younger learners build a foundational understanding of AI literacy while also developing real reading and writing skills. What began as a “sneaky reading project” has now expanded into student-created books, learning games, and new opportunities for students to practice prompting, revision, feedback, genre, characterization, and creative problem-solving.
The conversation also explores Liz’s work with vibe coding, Gemini Canvas, ISTE’s Stretch AI, and her recent recognition as a Generation AI Luminary Award recipient. Liz also shares how she has supported elementary educators in learning about AI first as learners themselves before applying it to their teaching practice.
