Immigration Law Made Easy by Hillary Walsh

Episode notes

When you are in a relationship with someone who uses threats, harasses, molests, stalks, attacks, batters, or strikes you, your family, or your children, that person commits domestic violence. You are not alone and have a legal right to seek relief from the courts by getting a protective order - all of this without fearing your immigration status and/or process will be affected. If you feel like you might need to file for a protection order- this is FOR YOU!

Remember: Anyone who is in immediate danger should call 911. If the situation is urgent but not an emergency, you may call the local law enforcement agency’s non-emergency line.
